Guided Tours
Packaged and Planned, End-to-End
Guided tours are pre-built, multi-day itineraries you join alongside a group, on a set departure date. Hotels, transportation, guided sightseeing, and meals are already bundled into one price — you show up, and the rest is handled.

Appeal of Guided Travel

Guided travel is one of the most established ways to see the world, and it's not slowing down — Europe remains the dominant market, with more guided itineraries available there than anywhere else, while Japan has become one of the fastest-growing destinations in the category. Travelers choose guided tours for well-run sightseeing and real value, without having to manage the details themselves.

Fewer Logistics to Manage

  • All-in-one booking

Transportation, hotels, meals, and activities are packaged into one itinerary, so you don't have to coordinate everything yourself.

  • Built-in support

There's someone on the ground managing logistics and helping if anything changes — no juggling reservations solo.

A Fit for Every Traveler

  • Endless destinations, every pace

From coast-to-coast U.S. itineraries to multi-country journeys across the globe, guided tours cover nearly every destination — with activity levels ranging from leisurely sightseeing to full adventure travel.

  • Shared journeys

Every trip brings together like-minded travelers, all drawn to the same destination — a shared experience that creates a natural sense of community independent travel doesn't offer.

Vacation Value

  • Expert guidance included

Local experts and tour guides share cultural context, stories, and insight you wouldn't get traveling independently.

  • Better overall value

Bundled pricing often makes complex, multi-stop itineraries more cost-effective than piecing them together yourself.

The Guided Travel Experience

With so many tour operators, styles, and destinations to choose from, finding the right guided tour can feel overwhelming. It helps to start with two things: where you want to go, and how you want to experience it.

Booking a Guided Tour

Booking a Tour with Me

Once I understand your travel style and priorities, I present a few tour options side by side — comparing destination coverage, traveler profile, price range, group size, and timing — so you can choose with confidence instead of sorting through dozens of options alone — AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU.

Some partners, including Collette, don't work with online discounters, so you won't find the same trip cheaper elsewhere.

If a delay or disruption comes up mid-trip, I handle the solution so you can relax.

Looking for Something More Personal?

Not every trip fits into a packaged guided tour itinerary. If you have a specific vision or need a highly complex or personalized multi-destination itinerary, a fully custom itinerary may be the better fit. For custom travel that calls for deep local knowledge, I work with a vetted locally-based team known as a destination management company (DMC) who designs the itinerary from scratch — to build and coordinate your trip from start to finish — incorporating everything on your wishlist. They also serve as your on-the-ground contact during your trip if needed. For less-complex custom requests, I can build a personalized itinerary for you directly (planning fee applies).

Let's book your guided tour.

Whether you want the classics done well or something more active, the right tour starts with a conversation. Reach out and let's find your fit.
